The main article in the RED EYE today is titled Chicago Shrinkage. According to statistics the city's population is down 7 percent since 2000. I told my coworker that I will soon be apart of the leaving flock. I'm tired of Chicago overall. But of course I will be back in the summertime because the city is "poppin"; which is street slang for "it's live"; which is street slang for "it's what's up"!! Ironically summertime Chi is when most people get shot, therefore literally, it is "poppin". Go figure.
