what's on the menu?

Photobucket

So I'm about to place my order. I'm ready :) My mouth is watering from the anticipation of the tasty food I'm about to devour. I place my order but learn they are out of vegetable egg rolls. The cashier offers chicken egg rolls, but I don't eat meat. My options are:

a) order something else somewhat equally satisfying
b) ask, "why the hell do you not have vegetable egg rolls?"
c) decide not to place my order and leave
d) order the chicken egg rolls but pick out the chicken

I view dating much like ordering from a menu. If I want something at a restaurant and they do not have it, I just have to live with the grim reality that THEY JUST DON'T HAVE IT! I know what I want. If you know what you want in your ideal mate and your "person of interest" is lacking, MOVE ON. Wanting to find the perfect mate is your want to be happy. Settling will not get you this. If the norm of dating fit the scenario above, the multiple choice would read:

a)substitute
b)beg
c)thanks, but no thanks
d)settle and hope to change
